My art relies heavily on experimentation and inspiration. I find inspiration in little things I see around me, whether that means an environment, decor, or even just a pattern. From that, I take the little details I like about that environment or object, and I try to incorporate them into my artwork. With each detail I try to use different methods in order to get the look that I want. Sometimes that means using a toothbrush to stipple paint, or to lightly scribble a colored pencil in order to get a sketchy look.
I create artwork to create a world of my own that I would like to live in. All through my life I’ve been inspired by various cartoons, graphics and illustrations and the concepts behind each. Because of this, I started to produce art that I felt could really express who I am. I hope that my art ends up showing people a world that’s unlike reality and gives people the same sort of escape that it gives me and while I do sometimes like to focus on the issues of the world and incorporate them into my pieces in order to raise awareness, my artwork is mostly created for the sake of my creativity needing to be released into the world.
Each of my pieces are created from things that inspire me. With that in mind, much of my artwork was created through experimentation of various techniques in order to create the details I wish to add from the environment or object that inspires me. Because of this, I am able to create my own little world through my art in hopes that others will be able to escape into my artwork the same way that I do.
